St Leonards on Sea is sometimes referred to as Hastings’ little sister and may well be Sussex’s best kept secret! It is a popular place for Londoners looking to escape to the seaside and take some time out. You can explore the trendy restaurants and bric a brac shops of Saint Leonards on Sea, stroll along the promenade to Hastings pier, George Street and Hastings old town, take a wine tastings tour, hike the country park or enjoy the legendary sunsets.
The Knowle at St Leonards is an Arts and Crafts villa, located in the leafy Markwick Gardens neighbourhood, a short walk from the sea as well as the independently owned restaurants and shops on the trendy Kings Road and Norman Road.
St Leonards Warrior Square train station is in close proximity, only a 10 minute walk away.
The house itself is located in the quiet streets overlooking the town, it has an abundance of original features including Victorian marble fire surrounds, original cornicing, stained and painted glass windows.
The rooms are large and well appointed, thoughtfully decorated with vintage furniture, comfortable super king size beds, black out blinds, luxurious cotton bedding and thoughtful details such as USB plugs.
The bathrooms are generously sized and opulent with underfloor heating, quality toiletries and of course large fluffy cotton towels.
We want our guests to feel relaxed and at home while staying at the Knowle at St Leonards and we have made every effort to ensure that the house conveys that feeling.
We also provide a welcome tray in the room with real coffee, tea, fresh milk and home made treats.

Our luxury bed and breakfast offers three super king sized bedrooms all with private ensuite bathrooms. The generous rooms and bathrooms all offer walk in monsoon rain showers, underfloor heating, heated towel rails, blackout blinds, high speed internet and proper hair dryers.
Our rooms do not have televisions as a conscious decision. If you want to watch TV, you are welcome to use our high speed wifi on your device.

We have a treatment room on site and you cam arrange for our recommended local therapists to treat you here - massages, reflexology, facials. Bookings are directly with your therapist ( we recommend the therapist and you make the booking directly with them).
